Dr. Fernanda Colabuono

QUALITY CONTROL & LABORATORY MANAGER

Fernanda holds a PhD in Sciences from the University of São Paulo. She has 15 years’ experience in academic research and has published 24 scientific articles in international journals.

Fernanda has extensive expertise in laboratory management and analytical chemistry. This experience includes chromatography and mass spectrometry, and other analytical techniques that are important to CarbonScape such as particle size analysis and surface area analysis.

For 12 years, Fernanda worked across many scientific projects focused on the impacts of pollution on the marine environment. She also dedicated her research to the use of carbon and nitrogen stable isotopes as environmental indicators.

Fernanda has collaborated with analytical laboratories and universities globally, developing analytical methods for the ultra-trace determination of organic contaminants.
