Livison Madumira

PILOT PLANT TECHNICAN

Livison Madumira holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. Throughout his academic journey, he acquired a plethora of technical competencies, spanning project design, laboratory test work design, plant design and development, as well as flowsheet development and design in mineral processing.

During his tenure with the Metal Extraction Research Group (MERG) within the School of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering, Livison focused on metal extraction, purification, and recovery. His educational background and hands-on experience enabled him to hone his expertise in Metallurgical Engineering, particularly in hydrometallurgy.

One notable aspect of Livison's skill set is his proficiency in process control and optimization of gold processing parameters, demonstrated through his work with DRD Gold Ltd ore.
