Mark is a highly experienced, trade-qualified electrician with over 25 years of expertise in domestic, commercial, and industrial installations and maintenance, including extensive mining experience within the South African goldmines. As a former business owner in the mining and electrical industry, he oversaw a team of 12 staff members and collaborated with multiple mine employees on various projects. Throughout a challenging recession, Mark sustained his business through strong client relationships and specialized expertise. He provided valuable electrical advice to major mines, refurbished a 60-year-old mine shaft winder without drawings, and developed the widely-used ABU Hydraulic Brake System. Mark also contributed to industry-standard chargers and effectively reduced downtime through meticulous maintenance planning.
