Margie Fletcher

SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER

An experienced chemical and process engineer, Margie is originally from Marlborough. With a Bachelor of Science (Biology) and Bachelor of Engineering with Honours (Chemical and Process Engineering) from the University of Canterbury, she has worked in industries including cement manufacturing, water and wastewater engineering, and aquaculture feed manufacturing.

In Scotland, Margie worked for a leading global cement manufacturer, managing a series of successful continuous improvement projects. She also held sole engineering responsibility for the UK and Irish branches of QuantumClean, a parts cleaning specialist for the semiconductor manufacture industry.

While working for Biomar in Scotland, Margie was selected to join the Biomar Global Process Network and travel to Chile to troubleshoot challenging process issues in value added salmon feed manufacturing. Back in Marlborough, Margie worked as a water and wastewater process engineer for the district council before joining CarbonScape in mid-2023.
