Troy Churchwell

PILOT PLANT TECHNICIAN

Troy has a deep understanding of the production process, having spent 20 years working in the wine industries of New Zealand, Australia and America.  

With a Graduate Diploma in Viticulture and Oenology, Troy grew from cellar hand to the positions of assistant and production winemaker. He also worked in the olive oil industry, from growing and manufacturing to sales. 

Troy was born in Singapore to Kiwi and American parents and lived in Asia for 18 years. He attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas, USA, and the Eastern Institute of Technology and Lincoln University in New Zealand.  

He joined the CarbonScape team in mid-2023.
